Vekta builds software for people who work with drones on the ground — mapping, surveying, and preparing land for autonomous work.
Autonomous spraying and other field automation only works as well as the map behind it — and today, getting that map usually means a separate mapping drone, photogrammetry software, and hours of office processing before a field is ready to fly. That's a lot of overhead for a boundary and a handful of obstacles.
We started with Vekta Fields: a way to turn a standard DJI RTK drone into a field-mapping tool, so spray-drone operators and farmers can map a boundary and its obstacles in minutes instead of running a separate mapping workflow.
Vekta Survey is the next tool in that line, currently in development. Both sit on the same idea — practical, drone-based fieldwork tools that move field automation further out of the office and into the field.
Vekta Fields is built on the DJI Mobile SDK and runs on the DJI RTK aircraft below.
